For this project, I had to design a layout for a magazine. This included everything from the type of magazine to the font and lettering used in the magazine. Since I grew up cooking and have had a lot of practice with it, I decided to create a magazine for cooking. I tried to go for a style that was easy to read while still having an interesting flow to it. Not only that, but I wanted to have splashes of warm color on the pages. This warm color would work both to keep the usually white background of the page interesting and help cause a little bit of hunger in the reader. This hunger would, stimulate the readers interest in the magazine. It would entice them learn how to cook the food that the specific articles are talking about.
