Ryan Lofton

For this project I was tasked with designing the packaging for a tea company. I was given various box templates to go through, settling for a hexagonal prism shaped box. The target audience was consumers focused on the origins of tea. To go along with this style I designed the company and the box around the name Jade Dragon, an homage to the tea’s Asian roots. The dragon naturally came from the company name and I eventually decided that having the dragon swirling around the box would be a good idea. The swirling dragon would help give the customer a reason to rotate the packaging, giving them a reason to see the other parts, like the brewing instructions or the nutrition facts.
